Flat-Pack and Ready-to-Assemble Products
Flat-pack products are designed around a specific manual and hardware set. IKEA furniture assembly, Wayfair furniture assembly, and similar searches describe this kind of request, but Bruce Tall Construction is not presented as affiliated with a retailer.
Before assembly, check the model, visible shipping damage, instructions, and hardware. Components are organized and assembled in the manufacturer’s sequence. Substitutions or modifications should not be assumed.
If a product requires wall mounting, permanent attachment, electrical connections, or another task beyond ordinary furniture assembly, identify that requirement in advance. It will be reviewed separately rather than treated as automatically included.
How to Prepare for the Appointment
A little preparation protects the product and makes the requested scope easier to understand.
- Keep the product boxes, labels, instructions, and hardware together.

Should furniture remain boxed?
It may remain boxed if the packaging is dry and undamaged and the boxes are close to a clear work area. Keep labels, instructions, and all hardware. If you notice damage, photograph it before discarding packaging.
Can several items be assembled in one visit?
Several items can be included in one request. List every product, model, and quantity so the full scope can be reviewed before scheduling.
What happens if parts are missing?
Assembly may need to pause if required hardware or components are missing or damaged. The manufacturer or retailer may need to supply the correct replacement part. Avoid unapproved substitutions that could conflict with the product instructions.
Do you disassemble furniture?
Disassembly is not included automatically. Describe the item, its current condition, and what you need done so Bruce Tall Construction can confirm whether that work fits the requested scope.
